She can walk high like the person she is looking at, or turn her back and be like the foreground. Ultimately, the photographer took a photo that sparks discussion. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1540885288.jpg |

Sally Mann. Uses antique large frame cameras. This video snippet makes me want to go get one. Watching what's involved in taking a pic reminds me of the nut jobs who dare reach in and adjust the valves on their 911's. Gluttons for punishment for the sake of a result. Love it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o62-YMQHeoI Other random links. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/model-family-76926283/ https://www.npr.org/sections/pictureshow/2011/06/01/133843304/sallymann |
My old job involved using modern versions of that camera. I used a 8x10 Sinar P and 4x5 versions as well. Even 20 years ago a piece of 8x10 film and the processing was expensive. Finding a place to process color sheet film would be tough in most cities. The chemistry needed and the tanks big enough to process it right would cost a lot. In the end, if he can find a buyer for his work great. It sure is a lot of work.

You can get a 256gb MicroSd for $70 on Amazon now.
That is more than the sum total of the entire storage capacity of the first data center I worked in. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1540904834.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1540911647.png |

I used to test these (Model 3380s) when I was working for IBM back in the '80s. |
