Isn't that the eRAM that was so laughed at here a couple of years ago?

Dave L 12-07-2006 05:29 PM

the eram was laughed about for a long time now. I remember him trying to flog it on a BMW board (this was in the days when UUC was an idea) at lease 8 or 9 years ago.

Craig 930 RS 12-07-2006 06:09 PM

He was on it hot and heavy on Rennlist in 1999 when it existed only as an e-mail list..........lotsa laughs were had about that little device

pmajka 12-07-2006 07:21 PM

Why were there laughs??
I read the threads and most people were just ignorant.

Considering the fact that it works and does what the company advertises.

Mind you the extremely short bursts of efficiency isn't practical for much more than the occasional stop light race.

The math doesn't lie and assuming sealevel:

You are running 1 PSI of boost at an altitude of 0 feet.
Assuming Your motor's static compression is 10.5 :1.
At this boost level and altitude your effective compression ratio is 11.21 :1, and without altitude correction your compression ratio would be 11.21 :1.

But then again, i dont think 10 second bursts are worth it.

I'd take 1/2 a BAR from a turbo any day.

pmajka, if you want to believe that the E-scam works, go right ahead.
The rest of us will continue to believe in and follow the laws of physics.

His product is not a scam...but the scope of this products use is limited (very limited)

WOT only, for 10-15 sec bursts.
Sammy what laws of physics was he scamming? Product works as advertised, and not a bit more. Its also not a substitute for a full time Huffer.

I have personally Popped a blow of valve from my intake plumbing, boost went from 7 lbs to 1lb. (real super charger)

1 lb, not much right??? WRONG.

1 Lb positive pressure is about 19 lbs better than running in 18 Lbs of vacuum .
