The car you show is a '69. '64-'66 'Cudas were the "bubble window" variety, which would be clearly shown in the photo of grandma's car - if it had one. That, and grandma's car is clearly a sedan - a four door. All 'Cudas were coupes or ragtops - two doors.

Here is a bubble window 'Cuda, produced from '64 through '66.

And if we really wanted to pick nits, the 'cuda wasn't available until 1969.
'cuda was a trim package available on Barracudas, some had it many did not.
Kinda like the SS or RS badging on a Camaro.

It's common for people to refer to all Barracudas as "cudas for shorthand, but to a MOPAR geek/nerd/fanatic/purist, that's almost a sin.

In 1969 a new trim package called 'Cuda was released. The 'Cuda, based on the Formula S option, was available with either the 340, 383 and, new for 1969, the 440 Super Commando V8.

Mopar nut here.. he is correct 100 % an easy way to remember Cuda vs Barracuda is think of Cuda as the high performance model. Barracuda more of a base model..small engine etc...

No one calls the earlier Barracudas "Cudas"?

I grew up in Ford Country (Dearborn), all other makes took a backseat but they were around, a true car town/city.

Local photos I took back in 2007 you might enjoy.
