In 1946, Saab aircraft engineer Gunnar Ljungström, designer Sixten Sason and a staff of 14 craftsmen hand-built prototype 92.001, also known as the UrSaab – a sleekly aerodynamic car that reflected its aircraft heritage; its unusual profile closely resembled the cross-section of an airplane wing.

The first four Saab prototype cars were unveiled to the world in 1947. Decades before the technology would come into vogue, Saab’s first automotive entries featured front-wheel-drive and transverse-mounted engines. Saab was one of the few cars of the 1940s to utilize wind tunnel testing, achieving an air resistance coefficient of only 0.30 Cd, a respectable figure even today.

Interesting.... big SAAB fan, but did not realize the 92 had a transverse engine. The 93, etc... even the 99 had longitudinal engines.

Like most guys, I don't understand women. I see more and more women from 16 to 60 with green or florescent blue hair. I do not find it attractive, just stupid, but it ain't my hair so I don't care. So do any of you guys think green and blue hair is attractive? Just curious. Like I said, I don't care one bit about it, just curious if I am alone in thinking green hair is stupid.

My wife is an elementary school Principal. There was a contest at her school where the different grade levels competed to get the most parents to join a parent program at school run through the parent association. The winners got to choose what color she had to dye her hair. They couldn't agree, so decided on rainbow. She's doing that today, & I'm curious to see what it looks like when she gets home.
