Daughter: Dad the truck is making a funny noise. Growlingish noise. Had her check around and she saw nothing obvious so I told her drive it home. Replaced both rotors since the growly one looked like this.

Be happy she was smart enough to notice it was growly. So many people never notice and drive until the rotor is gone.
