latest toy to capture cosmic dust.. afaik the 3 'copters missed the parachute and it crashed in a Utah or Calif desert today.

this is the duck killer from last winter. He brings home a dead warm duck in 20degF snow. I poster a pic of cat+duck+story back then on this thread.

The problem wasn't that the pilots were unable to snag the parachute, the problem was that the parachutes failed to deploy. So instead of having the helicopter spare the capsule from a 22mph parachute controlled descent, the capsule hit the earth at around 120mph.

I tried to post the image, which is a bitmap (.bmp). The photo upload lists a bunch of "valid file extensions", including .bmp -- but then the site tells me it only accepts .jpg or .gif. WTF?
