You know, I always thought one of these old gas station buildings would make a funky looking home shop....keep the lifts, etc. Of course, no underground tanks. :D

I'm digging the "passed Pegasus" graphic! (Probably pinin' for the fjords) "The plumage don't enter into it...It's stone dead!"

Mikey, what's the deal with that image? I haven't seen them before.

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Joe Bob 09-08-2007 03:51 PM

Dunno....but I'm gonna make some up.

woodman 09-08-2007 03:57 PM

I was going to post a closeup of the image and suggest you do that, but I noticed I had shot it through chain link. Want me to get you a better shot?

Joe Bob 09-08-2007 04:05 PM

Like this building in Dallas had several years ago. Magnolia Petroleum Company is who had the Flying Red Horse (a Pegasus) as their company's trademark. Supposedly the sign is back up.

You got it, the one on the right is Muffy Davis, crippled in a skiing accident while in HS, she is still in a wheelchair and is a Stanford graduate.

They both have interesting backgrounds and most likely would have been fierce competitors had one not been seriously injured.

Life does have strange twists.
