I remember a few years ago when 2 litre tourers became a big hit in the UK, Volvo went racing with their 850R station wagons - constant front runners, often winners. I used to think it must driven the other drivers nuts, knowing that no matter how hard they tried in their Fords, Vauxhals, Renaults etc they were being passed by "Mum's Taxi".
