Things we miss...

I miss not having bumper to bumper traffic 24-7.

I also miss barking food orders into the clown's face at Jack in the Box.

ronin 02-07-2004 11:37 PM

I've got bad news. that wasn't a clown face...

Well, when I was a kid, I called it that. Jack looked like a clown, right?

LOL! Just feeling nostalgic about simpler times. You know, when we didn't have elections based on hate instead of issues, movies that had musical numbers in them instead of accusations.

Stuff like that.

Hey, I miss the stix, too. L.A.'s so built up and expanded, the stix have turned into framing for Christopher houses.

amen to that! one thing that really irks me these days is people levying specious arguments against public figures they dislike. if you don't like someone, fine! but stop it with the assinine and unsupported character assasinations already

LOL about the Christopher houses! not to make light of anyone's tragic loss in the fires last year, but one could almost say that it was nature's attempt to try and reclaim itself

Mark, so what's the reg on bottle-to-scalp times? :D

Type911 02-08-2004 06:33 AM

I miss pull-tabs ! Remember those?
I had a teacher in 2nd grade that made the local paper, because our class collected 1,000,000 of em.......simpler times.

I miss driving my 911, too much snow...a real Colo. winter so far

vash 02-08-2004 11:28 AM

I miss a late night partying and not having to get up early the next day.

I miss authentic Looney Tunes cartoons at 8:30 AM on ABC.

Z-man 02-09-2004 06:36 AM

I miss the days when computers, cell phones, nav systems and such didn't rule our lives.

I also miss the days when kids didn't need 300 frames per second to be entertained.

Now clowns: I don't miss them: they scare me!

-Z-man.
