The bust was stolen. I don't remember the year, but it was gone in 1993 when I was there. The fence was not there either.

Less light (softer light) at sunrise/sunset, maybe that will get her to open her eyes more.

kachi thanks for the comment. would not shadows be a major issue early and late in the day? i struggled with shadows the whole shoot and was wishing for an assistant with reflectors to help. i can't imagine the looooong shadows i'd get early and late.
