Maybe I'm thinking of twilight where it's at such a low angle it's below the trees (or buildings) and it's all indirect light.
Most digital has a problem with twilight unless you start spending money. |
lots of 'noise' i think at low, low light times.
i also need to master fill flash. it was a fun exercise though and overall i was satisfied. the couple already have a pro for the wedding and just wanted a few engagement shots to put on the gift table. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179328767.jpg |

grainy b/w can be neat but in this case i had to shrink the photo size to upload it and the quality went down the toilet. originals are MUCH nicer quality (160kb+/- on these pages vs. 3.xmb+/- original).

She is a treasure. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179343012.jpg |

Actually, I like to say her brain came from me....but unfortunately, she's a hell of a lot smarter than I am. And she was a jock, ALL C.I.F women's water polo player in high school too. I have been terribly blessed. Thank you for the metered comments though. A Dad appreciates that. |

I like that Mustang and the view.
What city is the "Signature Room" in? LOL Mikez. Ya, mom had a lovely time. She's a depression-era woman, very down-to-earth (simple tastes, for lack of better word) and she said she felt like someone "important" that day. It was cute.
For an extra 20 bucks, they provided flowers for the moms with a personalized note. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179748499.jpg Kachi, the Signature Room is on the top of the Hancock. Lovely restaurant and lounge. |

Nice mill in this old 'Cuda. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179752658.jpg A Daytona Coupe at this weekends DE event. It's an automatic. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179753055.jpg Bunny Motorsports http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179753140.jpg |
And one more pic. My wife at her first DE event!
She has always been one of those conservative drivers that has never taken a notion to do donuts in a parking lot, e-brake turns, etc. And she has never done any kind of competitive driving in her life.. no AX, no drag, nothing. On Saturday she was sucking like US Politics. Everyone was passing her and she was really taking it hard to the ego. But that evening a few of our friends (who are also DE instructors) gave her a little pep talk and we all told her to just relax and have fun. Usually she would rather stab me than listen to any advice I offer, but on Sunday morning it was like a completely different driver was in the car. She was out there making her shifts better, driving more smoothly through the turns, and passing other students as easily as they had passed her the day before. She climbed out of the car and came running over to me, smiling and yelling, "I don't want kids... I WANT TO RACE!!!" I guess DE was a good birthday present for her. She turns 29 tomorrow. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1179753801.jpg 1979 Mazda RX-7 @ ~100 whining horsepower Built to SCCA IT-7 spec.
