Vacations
 

Have you ever taken a vacation by yourself? Did you have a good time? I will explain my reasoning after.

Girlfriend broke up right before a euro vacation. I went anyway. A month on the trains of Europe. Had a blast. Came home with a Swiss cutie.

Go for it.

I travel a couple of times a year for biz. I have always booked a couple of extra days for myself by myself. Biz in SLC head for the mountains, skiing in Alta, Biz in LA head for the coast...

If by vacation you mean going camping/hiking solo for 4-7 days, then yes.

Before we had our first kid. Spent a bunch of days camping and hiking by myself so I could help get my head squared up.

I highly recommend it. Especially if your not in a position to give yourself a whole lot in the way personal "me" time.
