I would chase them down and beat them senseless with a lug wrench.

I particularly like the commentary on this clip.

Where do you think that was filmed? It looks like a LHD car and he's driving on the right but the houses in the background look European.

Note that in 99% of all European countries, they drive LHD cars.

Thank you for pointing that out. I was suggesting that while it could be in the United States, the houses in the background looked European. Given the origin of "drifting" as a spectator sport in Japan, I would have expected to see RHD.

Ok, I understand your post now. Sorry.

As "Lefty" Ruggiero was fond of saying "fuggedaboutit!"

N. Euro is my guess -- by the blurry looks of the license plates and what might be Fina flags in the background.

could be wrong...

Where's [insert name] when we need him? :D

Z-man 07-23-2004 11:13 AM

I think it's Hungarian.

Idiot screaming on the video
Ah! Szia... {undiscrenable} . . jo! Ahh ahhh!

Translation:
Ah! Hi! {undisernable - could be the driver's name, Lehel ? } Good! (squeeling like a girl)
I also hear Good! Good! a couple of times in the background towards the end of the clip.

I just love the way the idiot recording the clip squeals like a baby at the end as well.

wonder what he would have sounded like had the beemer collided with oncoming traffic

lendaddy 07-23-2004 11:27 AM

"wonder what he would have sounded like had the beemer collided with oncoming traffic"

You would likely hear bones cracking and muted pleas for life through a blood filled mouth, then I'de stop hitting him with my lug wrench.
