Is Kerry off base?

Or running around the bases in the wrong direction.

From what I understand he was in Florida appealing to NASA employees on how they should be doing better financially. His campaign is and will continue to focus on jobs and the economy.

Will this be an effective strategy? This just adds to my argument: http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040727/ap_on_bi_go_ec_fi/economy_12

Consumer confidence is up because of the anticipation of having Kerry in the White House.

After watching the DNC snippets from last night you'd swear they were trying to run Clinton again...

lendaddy 07-27-2004 08:57 AM

I watched last night, Clinton made a good speech. The guy is reprehensible as a human, but a good politician. Hillary, oh goodness I can hardly take her voice alone. I seriousy dislike this woman and I don't exactly know why. I know I despise her politics, but it is more than that. She makes me tense and upset. Right now I am tense just thinking about it. I think I need to see a shrink, not healthy:) A big part of it I think is her self annointed intelligence/knowledge. "I know a thing or two about healthcare" NO you don't! You idiot! What makes you think you are qualified to make that statement? Ohh I need nitro pill.

RickM 07-27-2004 08:58 AM

I'm completely tired of the "Kerry is a war hero" speeches.

djmcmath 07-27-2004 09:01 AM

But Kerry has three purple hearts. Did you know he's a war hero? That's a big deal in this campaign.

I watched part of Bill Clinton's speech last night too -- very charismatic speaker, he is. He sure does play a crowd well.

dtw 07-27-2004 09:34 AM

Is it me or did Hitlery seem kind of sheepish when she brought up health care? Like, "Uhh...and to fix the health care crisis, that I uh, sorta promised to solve but, uh, didn't..."

djmcmath 07-27-2004 09:38 AM

Yeah, but isn't Kerry a war hero? IIRC, he served honorably in Vietnam. Didn't he earn some purple hearts?

dtw 07-27-2004 09:45 AM

Ohhh yeah, I forgot. Well then healthcare should be fine by mid-year '05. And everything else we wild dingo righties have been abandoning for our war lust.

A big part of this dog and pony is about Hillary '08.

No doubt. Will likely pull many undecideds in.
