50 years? I give it 10 years. It'll be nice to have China as a focus of Al Queda then.

This is not new and has nothing to do with the UN. The "rest of the world" is very uncomfortable with us being the only superpower and have/will continue efforts to degrade that standing. Will there be another superpower? Yes, but it will not be a coalition of EU countries, it will likely be China as they are the only ones with the resources to compete. Once they no longer have use for the hangers-on (EU/Russia) they will discard them.

As far as outsourcing speeding this up, sure it does. But we "insource" far more jobs than we outsource so we are also gaining steam or only getting stonger if you will. They have a long way to go and contrary to popular opinion we are not backing up to the field.

Yeah, if only we could go back in time, to when we didn't have GW's inciteful "war on terror" . . .say, back to September 10th 2001. Yep, the Muslim world liked us back then.

This is one a claim for which I've never seen adequate substantiation. I know the outsourcing is a fact, I see it all the time at work. I've seen a lot of jobs sent to India and Asia in general. I'm not seeing jobs imported from India/China/Taiwain/etc to here.

Most of the imported jobs are from Germany and Japan, automotive.
