Politics in general...

So, when are we gonna let all this political crap go anyways.

Obviously, you guys aren't swing voters, and aren't going to be swayed from your partisan views.

As for influencing the undecided masses like me, I don't think it works. I actually dislike both of our candidates equally, and mournfully. Probably more so now, after seeing you guys, and myself at times arguing about it.

Do the "right" and "left" actually hate their countrymen enough to let these 2 buffoons be our only real choices.

Have things actually gotten so bad that it's not a matter of who's better for our country, but rather who's not worse???

Can someone please tell me what would happen if not one person voted at all? Would that be enough of a boycott to make the respective parties go back to the parts bin and bring out some new pieces??

Voter turnout in the US has always been abysmal compared with other first-world nations. I doubt that if it got even worse that would give the politicians any incentive to get better. You'd reach the point where they would be the only ones voting. Come to think of it that actually might help. No more shampaigning would be required, the President, VP & opposition may actually get some work done :)

It is all women kind's fault I firmly believe. If they voted in the numbers that men vote there never would have been a George W. Bush presidency.

(Yeah, I'm kind of kidding)

I try to let it go but these days things are hard to let go - you have to fight for your freedoms or they will be taken away.

Paul Harvey did a segment about dynasties lasting only 200 years. I believe it was last Friday's show. Basically, a democracy ends when the voters find they can vote themselves a bigger piece of the pie. I think to some degree he is right, but I would have to disagree some because I still have a good 40 years of quality life ahead of me. Let's hope it all stays together for another 40 years, OK? :)

I was completely kidding so I wouldn't stress too much about it. In reality women vote more than men by about 2%.

No - it means that out of 100 women and 100 men who are able to vote if 100% of the women vote then as the stats go 51 of the women will vote and 49 of the men will vote.

capich?

4 out of 5 dentists agree.

I don't have time for politics, I'm too busy enjoying my life.

Something's wrong when there are fifty candidates for Miss America but only two for the President.
