haha i miss that! I was a member of the fabled "Dog House" at Northeastern. I always loved that chant, well, because I got into BU and BC ;) I can see how some would be offended, though.

My roommate went to Northeastern...gave him his share because he didn't get into UConn

haha really? that must have been awhile ago. My GF didn't get into NeU, but got into Fairfield (?!?)

Anyhow, I always considered myself exempt from the "safety school" chant. A lot of my friends actually got into "better" schools as well, but chose NeU because they either liked the location, the campus, or the co-op program.

Not saying it is a badschool overall...my roommate does quite well for himself...but the UConn engineering department was more rigorous than NUs

(actually, CCSU was my real safety, but I wanted to join in the fun)

UConn is coming along quite well acedemically...especially in the sciences
