He`s here in our building right now, talking to his followers here in Vegas at the Mack. Never saw a presidential motor cade THAT close (about 9 ft away).

Thats limo he is driven in is amazing. Ive never heard a motor like that have in that car. Sounded like it could take off if wings were installed.15 surbs with armed gun men staring you down as they drive by.Vans with runners on the sides. There are SO many secret service men here its scary.

Ill see if I can get away with taking a pic when he leaves in 20 min.

Notice the glass on the limo. Like 9" thick. I have heard that the driver can't got for more than 1 hour at a time.

If you get a chance to ask him, he might able to look at your video.

I know this is a dumb question but how does the motorcade get to all the locations the president is? Does it fly on Airforce One or does it follow in a separate plane or do they have 50+ motorcades all over the country.

Driver can't go for more than an hour because of eyestrain.
I think the motorcade flies in a seperate cargo plane.

I saw the motorcade 2 years ago on a Sunday on the Washington Mall. I could tell it was something special b/c the cars had DC tags. BUsh waved to use while we were out jogging. Later in the day, the press reported that he was jogging - I like to think my idea rubbed off.

I watched a documentary on the presidential advance team/motorcade and it was pretty interesting. The limo and the support vehicles (several large SUV's and a couple of passenger cars) are transported by the airforce in transport plane prior to the president's arrival. The team actually drives the route prior to the pres. getting there to learn the route and such. I think they are called the advance team.

That is some incredible information, I love historical stuff like that. I don't think any president can ride in an open air limo again after Kennedy's assassination.
