Jeez, I guess it's too bad GWB was turned down when he applied to law school. Otherwise, we could attack his profession too.

I guess it's safer when you don't have a profession to attack. Nor accomplishments...

(BTW, for those not paying attention, Kerry was a prosecutor.)

Hmmm, let's see......Accepted at law school, or elected President of the United States. Hmmmm...

Yeah, but Mark, Kerry has been a Senator for 2 Decades! (Bush has been POTUS for only ~4 years.)
And in those 2 Decades John Kerry has accomplished. . . ah. . . ah . . .ah .. .not much.

Once again, Techweenie, arbiter of all that is fair, weighs in defending his choice of candidate!

Tell me, because you are so much smarter than everyone here, do you think that your candidate is likely to push for Tort Reform as a way of reducing medical costs in the USA?

Oh, and you don't have to be smart to go to law school. But it probably doesn't hurt you, as long as you don't take yourself too seriously.

Hey he married a gal with Half a Billon dollars . Now that is somthing after all he will work for the poor and middle class.
After all you need something to do while you are flying your 50 millon dollar jet to between your estates.
Just think John Kerry can windsurf in Cape Cod in the morning then Ski Aspen in the afternoon and never leave home.

Island? Have you ever searched the roots of the word "plan"? A long term pen pal via snail mail often repeats that it originates from the days of the french prison, devil's island. The cons there had "plans"...hollowed out sections of bamboo they would stuff into their colons in order to conceal whatever their "plans" contained... I have absolutely no idea whether or not this is true. Somehow, this thread reminds me of that tale...;)

So Paul, you're saying that Senator Kerry is keeping his plan in his colon? Guess that's why we haven't seen it.

island911 10-19-2004 07:04 PM

:D I thought that would be where Kerrys PLAN would come from. http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pain30.gif

So, what you're saying is that, when Kerry talks about his plan, he's really just full of.... oh, never mind.....

Yeah, I've got a line on Alec Baldiwns out-of country estate. ;)

campbellcj 10-19-2004 10:12 PM

All jesting aside, I suggest reading the "plan" posted on Kerry's web site.

Personally I could not reconcile the savings "calculations" nor concur with several other aspects, but everyone needs to do his/her own research and judge accordingly.

pwd72s 10-19-2004 11:25 PM

Yep! That's what I meant...that Kerry has a "plan" for us all. BOHICA! :D

I think it may be more telling of who they let into law school.

(no offense to any of my atty friends)

fintstone 10-20-2004 10:20 PM

Yep..only a liberal would consider acceptance into law school a higher achievement than becoming president. I guess that explains why they are so against tort reform.
