Mopar fans...
I know this is a Porsche and BMW hangout mostly, but I'm looking for Mopar/Chrysler fans. The reason is I use to be into Mopar products when I was younger, and I have some old parts laying around. Most have found a good home already, but I have one single plane Holley Dominator intake manifold that nobody wants. It fits a "B" block 383/400 motor.
I want NO MONEY for it, just someone to take it off my hands, so I don't have to take it to the metal recycler and get 50 cents for it. If you or anyone you know would like it contact me: makaio@pelicanbbs.com |
I had a 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 Six Pack car once upon a time...It was brutal...either you were crusing at 35 mph or you wer blasting off....I sometimes think I would like to own a Cuda or Challenger with a 383 Magnum ....but then the craving passes....

I would much rather own a 356 Cab or 72/73 911S....I sometimes think that the 356 would be too gutless to make me happy...although it would be crusin in style...Now the 72 911S....well it developes a bit more torque and HP than my 69 911S....and I think it maybe a bit more rounded as a car because of it...

I was tempted, but my MOPAR is an "A" block. Ever thought of strolling around the next cruise-in held in Redding, towing it behind you in a wagon? Bet you'd find a taker...a grateful one at that. ;)

Good idea Paul. I might have to take it to the next drag race.
My last Mopar was a 66' 1/2 ton truck, short box with a 413 R/B motor, six pack carb set off a 440, and 727 Torqueflight tranny, posi rear end, that would literly boil the tires. I do sometimes miss being able to do a good smoke show. But then i forget all about it when I'm taking corners much faster than any muscle car ever thought of. |
