Would that be Michael Stanley / AKA Mike Gee?
I cannot disagree with your choices static. I think it's pretty cool also that they all owe their roots to the blues greats, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, etc. |
Considered a Tiburon once, but the Collision and Comp insurance was twice that of a Toyota Celica, like another $1,200/year.

Everybody's so different, I haven't changed...

I instructed in a Bi Turbo last year on a very tight track. The guy stuck a larger set of turbos in it - but everything else was stock. Damn car swayed around like a kite on a windy day. Out of 5 different instructors 3 got ill - one bad enough to throw up. By the end of the day = I was the only one who would ride with him - and then the driver had to stop to throw up.

My neighbor, Glen, took me for a ride in his ('03?)Maserati 3200 Pininfarina cabriolet. The inside looks very nice and professional in my opinion. It had great power too (0-60 in 4.8 seconds), but it just didn't appeal to me. The body style looks too "normal", especially in a darker color. I have to say it is a nice car though.

I think that the new Masarati is decent looking, a little understated maybe. I was at Globe Tire in L.A. yesterday, (talk about a people & car watching scene),, former NBA player Chris Mills was there w/ the new Lambo cabrio in sort of a burnt orange color. Definitely not understated. ;)
All I could think was too bad I didn't have my camera for the Pelican OT board, that place was a 3-ring circus of hot cars, player-dudes and scorching hot women. I met Joe Walsh fairly recently, he is a really funny and nice guy. (And great musician). Me: "I can't believe you're still alive!" JW: "Me neither!" :D |
