"THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGIN"
-Bob Dylan

Funny how they were thought of as long hair wierdos, in matching suits no less...

CJFusco 04-23-2005 08:15 PM

... and their music is still far superior to most of what has occupied the Billboard charts since then.

Rule # 5 is different. I'm not a Beatles fan but it is interesting that they would have a rule about segregated audiences. I guess those were the times they were living in back then.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

It's the beauty of the internet: anonymity! It provides a stage for those who can't deal with people in real life. Well, that and I'll bet he drives a 924. :D

Oh Haha 04-24-2005 07:28 AM

Hey, you got three stars now, Curt! Must be doin' somethin' right, eh?

cegerer 04-24-2005 10:00 AM

Hey now there's 4 stars! I feel really good now.

I read some of the demands of Aguilara, Stone, J-blow etc.... and it is just so obvious how those trite little materialistic requirements smack of total insecurity on the part of the particular 'artist'.

Also noted is how cheap it was to see the Beatles back in 65 at the height of their popularity, + how little the band was paid...

Ahhh, but money was a LOT different back then. At about the same time, I had what was considered a well paying manufacturing job...pulling unfinished lumber off a mill's "green chain". I still remember the hourly pay...$2.12 per hour. People bought houses, raised families on that kind of money.
