RFID For Humans?
|
I wouldn't mind having it for convicted sex offenders. We could put little receivers on kids, so if an RFID-implanted offender gets too close, alarms goes off and the guy bursts into flames.
|
I read an article that dealt with GPS tracking for kids. The transceiver could be implanted into the kid's arm or worn externally as a watch. The most obvious problem is the harm a kidnapper may cause trying to remove. Then there's the big brother stigma. Also, RFID must pass closely to a scanner so I see limited flexibilty for the kid tracker application.
Now if one wants to upload medical info because of a chronic illness I can see a market. |
you just know that rich lil jonny, up the street, will have a receiver/locater . . . hide & seek will never be the same.
SO does this thing come bundled with an "Ear Tagger"? |
