Well, I guess the pictures of dozens of busses neatly parked under 5-10 feet of water is kind of hard to explain if they were deployed in rescue efforts... don't you think?
Now I KNOW you can think of a scenario, however implausible, to explain that fact, and at the same time how the busses were all just back from dropping thousands of people off in Baton Rouge before they went in the drink, but - and I'm not trying to be sarcastic - let me ask you this: Are you primarily interested in the truth of what happened? or in simply engaging in debate, as a sort of sport?

Just like the former Soviet Union, the government messes up big time, people die, then to divert blame away from themselves, they start arresting people.

These charges are politically driven, plain and simple. It is nothing more than an attempt by corrupt politicians to get some of the heat off their backs for their failures.

And you don't know if they were used and then parked before the hurricane hit. They would have to park them somewhere before the hurricane hit. We don't know for a fact they weren't moved, or about the drivers issue, or if how many were used...you just don't know. Yet you love to perpetuate crap you dont' even know is true.

But we do know now that buses were being used now, weren't they..... Yet, without the whole picture, without any tangible evidence, with just a internet picture, you guys wildly declare, to claim that wasn't done.

And unlike the Soviet Union, there will be an investigation into this and you'll have your FACTUAL answers eventually.

My thoughts exactly. Where were the families for the most part?

I am sure there were a few cases where there were no families. I find it hard to believe every person that died had no family to look in on them or transfer them somewhere out of harms way. I guess thats what the nursing home is for, dump them there and let the home worry about it.
