So.... Cindy Sheehan's son dies fighting "for freedom" in Iraq . Then his mom gets arrested for, get this, using a loudspeaker without a permit at a protest. Further, she was injured slightly during the arrest. She claims excessive force was used for the "offense" committed.

I guess the freedom her son gave his life for didn't include freedom of speech for his mother.

If she was angry before, I can only imagine how she feels about her family's sacrifice now.

Ummm...not necessarily. Exploitation, whether she did so to herself, or allowed others to exploit her for their own gain, was much of the cause.

No one, particularly other mothers who lost children in the war, needed this woman's continual reminder of how unjust the Iraq War is.

Cindy Sheehan is a liar and her injuries are more likely than not her responsibility...she is using the injuries she sustained to point her finger and pretend the victim...typical leftist strategy.

And the lefties only see this through the pro-communist anti-war propagandists staging...She is fueled and funded by pro-communist groups in tye-dye drag.

She does have freedom of speech... I don't get where the first poster thinks she doesn't..

I cite a passage that, IMO, makes this worthless in terms of news. The singular event of a person being jostled during a series of arrests is not news.

How do we know that she didn't fight or obstruct the police?

This is fit for police blotters, and that's the only place I'd want to see it in a newspaper. I wonder if anybody would (or could) discount politics and evaluate how worthwhile it is to read the article.

Sheeet, man. I get jostled every damn time I ride the subway. Get jostled trying to get a taxi during rush hour, or in line at the bank. Jostled in the daily bob and weave of life in this great urban Metropolis.
