Maryanne (character) is confident in who she is and grounded in good old midwestern morals. Sees no need to go to those extremes to please.

Ginger is very shallow but predictable in her own right. Although she likely is not blowing all her dates, would do almost anything to please the right guy - one with money/status.

Was not voting on which one I wanted to spend the night with, but the wone I would love to be on a deserted island with.

Gotta go with the Kansas farmgirl. First wife was too glam and was aweful on too many fronts. Now and forever wife is a midwestern farmgirl and knows how to gut a fish, drive a tractor, gobbleknob, shoot a gun, hug a kid, make cheese surprise somethingorother, be a true "backdoor babe", and drink beer and play cards with the best of them!

I wouldn't trade my farmgirl for a penthouse full of Gingers.
