Mul, my quotes showed hypocrisy in relation to policy. Yours don't do that. All our politicians agreed Saddam was a bad leader and wanted to be stronger militarily. It is just the course of action taken that is debatable. Those quotes of democrats don't necessarily support war.
Your quotes said nothing about hypocrisy, a majority were from before 9-11. The quotes you present are intended to paint a false picture, built on a false premise, unrelated to the current falsely manipulated political discourse....My quotes bring us back to message. The lies of the left.

The time frame doesn't matter except to people who now want to exonerate an immoral war.
The hypocrisy is evident in their quotes. Your little cartoon and its quotes are really trying to say, "see, they supported the war earlier, and now they don't". Yeah, that does happen when the premise for war is false. That is not being hypocritical.

Steve, you bring up an interesting point. If a war is Just, EVERYONE rallies around it, NO ONE would even think of not supporting it. Compare WWII with Vietnam in this regard. If a war is just and politicians spoke out against it, they would be shown the door IMMEDIATELY.

Following this logic, the recent election coupled with a large majority of American's against the war, points to it being unjust, or started under false pretenses.

Len, I understood where you were going with this post as did the others deep down. The Bush haters main Bush Lied message is that he lied to get us into war PERIOD. They have no proof that he lied about the intell.

Instead of discussing the "big Bush lie", we get to hear whining that Bush said he would fire anyone caught outing a CIA agent. I guess that really frosts you guys. This particular situation is just a poor example of the left trying to pin anything they can on Bush. I have yet to hear that anyone on Bush's staff has been found guilty in a court of law for actually outing Plame. Scooter resigned to defend himself but he was not accused of being the source, so how did Bush lie here?

Most of the earlier mentioned paste jobs are debatable depending on where you get your facts and how you interpret them. These little side notes are just a feeble attempt to show that if he lied about these small things (I am not saying he did), he must have lied about Iraq (which they cannot prove). Pathetic!

sorry, I don't kiss and tell.

And you're the one that brought up messages to moderators in the first place...I figured maybe you knew.

Actually, not all politicians were all sold on WWII. Some went begrudgingly. What set WWII apart is FDR had much, much, tighter reins over the media than has occurred in subsequent military operations.

If they were complaints about me they surely were just liberal hysterics masked in crocodile protestations, without an ounce of credibility or substance.

As you know well, I have complained a total of 1 time in my 3000+ posts...I let it roll off my back 99.999999% of the time...Meaningless *****ing and moaning is a liberal trait.

as usual, you know not of what you speak.

Mulhollanddose 11-17-2005 06:03 PM

I know my style and I know I have gotten complaints, and they were absolutely undeserved hysterics by hate-filled recipients of my rhetorical bludgeon.

I am not above honest reproach, however...You can lay out an anonymous complaint and we could discuss it if you would like.

No need. As I said, you know not of what you speak.

fintstone 11-17-2005 06:25 PM

So..after all this time and all these posts...you could not come up with one actual quote of the President that you could prove was a lie? I guess Len made a fool out of you guys again. Does that make him liberal enemy #1 instead of Mul now?

Shaun, the above is not an actual quote so you shouldn't put quotation marks around it.

Anyway, you seem to think I'm claiming that Bush has never fibbed or lied in his life. I am not, he is human and worse than that a politician. I was addressing the liberal rant of "Bush lied to get us into war" sentiment and I challenged you (actually Rodeo) to back it up. Lets keep a focus.

You are such a tool it's pathetic.

You owe me 10 minutes of my life back for starting this stupid thread.

You obviously are bored and have no real interest in an honest debate.

He's yanking everyones chain.

Just let it go.

Or they could have been completely deserved, not hysterical in the least, and waged by someone without an ounce of hate but rather a dumptruck full of annoyance and disgust w/ your "facts" and "absolutes".

Is there a special school somewhere for right-wing histrionics such as this sentence of yours? It is very similar to the squacking of Rush Limbaugh and others, but w/ an almost meth-induced level of mouth-foaming rightous indignation.

Do you ever feel like you need a horse laxative?

I listed plenty of lies. Only answer was that Ldaddy can't be bothered to read cut and paste. That was truly a foolish response. NO one has addressed a single quote.

Mr. Bush made false statements, and there are plenty more documented to bring forth. I guess you are just going to ignore and hope they go away.

Shhhh, the adults are talking.

You've just gotta love the mental midget ankle biters that jump in for a cheap shot then run. High class indeed.

I can only imagine what type of "proof" you would require to refute one of your pre-ordained, set-in-stone positions on Bush or the Iraq invasion. You simply divert or reply w/ one of three stock logical fallacies. I take pleasure in the knowledge that not one of you kool-aid drinkers could last 10 seconds in a legitimate, moderated debate.

Please, you toss out a laundry list of vagueries and leave expecting a reply. If you're serious I'll gladely debate this with you if you'll attempt an original thought. Hell, half the examples you gave didn't ionvolve Bush but rather his aides or "The Whitehouse". Then digging deeper they challenge Bushs opinion by calling it a lie, what a standard! So seriously, pick one and defend it and we'll go. If you take it beyond "I quit" you'll find I'm plenty easy to deal with.

As always, you are in character. As soon as you know you are beat....you start the name calling.

If the President had lied...it would be easy to prove. Much as it was with the last President who lied under oath. He was caught and impeached. The left is just trying to make people believe that lying is not restricted to Democratic Presidents ...
