Just be aware of the Indiana/Illinois border. It's been under construction for two years. Last time I drove through there coming from NY, it took me 2 hours to make it from Gary to I-55. I didn't get much faster than 20 mph in that stretch, with complete stops lasting as long as 30 seconds...
