They didn't touch Polomolu, so it was just a good play.

The gimmick play was very well executed and I give them credit. I'ts still a gimmick play though, I'm sorry if that offends you, but it is.

They got two first downs in the last drive (which is good)......(which is also as many as they had in the entire first half)

You can call it a gimmick play or trick play, whatever. Most teams use plays like this at one time or another. They scored on it.

I'm interested that you characterize the excellent blocking on the 75 yd Porter TD run as a 'fluke' but the pick on Polomolu is just a good play. Maybe a little anti-Steeler bias? Certainly not very objective.

Seattle had guys open all day = consistency

Pitt had NO run game other than that play = fluke

I'm not making this stuff up. Look at Pitt's stats other than that one play....awful with a capitol AWE.

Seattle also had plenty of drops--which was their biggest problem last year.

The Steelers did get the running game going after the 75-yard TD, and Seattle was so worried about the run, thta the safeties and CBs bit hard on the Parker to Randle El reverse--convinced it was a run--and we saw what happened there(It was the same play the Steelers used against Cleveland earlier in the year).

Bottom line is that as of today the Steelers are Super Bowl Champions--period.

Ok, lets put it this way:

No one in the NFL is worried about OR even talking about a Pitt dynasty.

2 AFC Championship games in 2 years--one resulting in a Super Bowl win....

Well, the Steelers love the underdog role.
