fish tank electronic bling.....
i've been enjoying watching 2 of my tiger oscars grow up over the past 2 years, so much i'm in the middle of building a fish room where they will have a 350 gallon tank along with 2 other 75ish gallon tanks.
i've learned alot with water quality test kits and building my own sump system and all that fun stuff. a good friend whom i've helped out of a couple jams in the past is hooking me up with a sweet digital pH analizer, it's a Hach GLI P53, it has 4 output relays which can be programmed to trigger alarms/devices to whatever i need them to do. it's the cats meow and not cheap, it can read -2 to 14pH ( my oscars need to be around a 7) and surpasses industrial standards......this is what my friend tells me as it's his field, not mine ![]() initially it'll be set up to monitor the pH and temp in my 75 gallon, when the new tank room is done it'll be in the main sump system which will filter all but one "hospital" tank. here's a pic and a link to the mfg. anyone else using stuff like this? www.hach.com ![]()
