HELP! Need A Hotel In NYC?

I need two rooms, good location(Broadway, etc...), reasonable price for next month. Don't want a four star, just a place to crash a few nights.

Have you checked sites like hotels.com?

Not too much is reasonable about hotel prices in NYC. But, I've found the Marriot on Times Square to be nice and, obviously, it's in a good location.

There is a Howard Johnson not far from times square I have stayed at before. Its off of 34th around 7th or 8th. Not too crappy and pretty cheap IIRC

Check out biddingfortravel.com and then use the tips there to make a successful bid on priceline.com.

Oh, and there's 2 Murray hill Suites in NY. Check them both.

That entire Broadway area is very expensive. I assume you mean the theatre district.
I would recommend staying in Jersey City near the Holland tunnel. There's nice reasonable hotels there and its only a 5-10 minute PATH trainride into manhatten.

Our airline books 100 room nights a month in Manhattan. Usually at a Marriott, Renaissance or Hilton. We have seen our 'contract rates' rise by 100% in the last 2 months. Coupled with a 100% rise in the 6 months prior. Most hotels are running close to capacity. Visitors to NYC are back, and it aint cheap anymore.

Try the Y in Greenpoint. $40 a night. Cheap.
