Crazy dough wasn't dropped - junkyard EFI 350 with some cams and some basic goodies - and a LOT of labor

Ahhh, the build quality looks so good and the word Tremec starts most people wallets crying, so I ASSumed big bucks.

Appears I was wrong, do you know ballpark #'s above the donor?

I had a TKO Tremec tranny in my old 302 ford. They are only $1600 brand new and can be had used for under a grand. Well worth the money too. Shifts rock solid and the throw is so tiny you can row through the gears lightning fast.

Yep, I just found new 6 speeds for $2,200. I'm not sure what I was thinking of, perhaps a different brand. I throw myself at the mercy of the cost conscious.

Sweet - bet that's fun - although I would have been tempted to keep the 318 tag
