The market is down for me something like 5% in the last week. What the F? Problem is I'm pretty divested (I think) so I tend to ride the ups and downs. I'd love to put away 18%, living in CA that's a little impossible (for me at least). Cost of living increases from my employer don't keep up with Real inflation. Guess I'll be working until I have a heart attack on the job.

Then you start putting funds in Roth IRAs and other types of retirment savings accounts. There are plenty of ways to save it's just if people are willing to have less now to have something later.

I max out my 401k but i do not think that is enough to retire on. Then again, i do not plan to retire, i will get bored.

The 18% came from the Frontline program...that was what was needed to retire on..and then U have to manage the portfolio well.

The Boomers are the LSD Tripping, Bong hitting, Free Love, anti-war, blaming it on their parents, long haired Hippy Bums...is it any wonder how fked up this country is with them in control...just take a look at CA and San Francisco in specific and see how its run..
