Where to buy a motorcycle frame (cheap) in Los Angeles area?
My latest wacky Saturday morning idea. I own a 1980 Honda XL500 that runs great and only has about 5000 miles on it. I would like to get rid of it however I would be lucky to get $500 for it. It is fun to ride but as "duel purpose" bike the vintage suspension sucks big time. So I'm thinking maybe pick up a cheap used cafe style frame and stuff the low mileage thumper motor in there.
Probably cost more time and money than it is worth but I though I would run the idea past you biker nuts on the BBS.
