A Kool Blast From The Past
Here is a little something I have been watching for sometime, and would be a good addition to the collection.
This rifle was made by John Krider (1826-1889) of Philidelphia, PA circa 1865. The Krider family were well known makers of fine rifles and psitols going back to Revolutionary War times. Their guns have been highly collected for decades, a pair of Deringer style pistols have sold for $250,000.00. This paticular rifle is in outstanding condition, is apx 45 caliber and has a 36 inch octogon http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/al853.htm |
That percussion rifle is beautiful! The wood stock and trigger guard look like art!
