Mexican American.....African American....German American.....
Once they are citizens, they are simply Americans. What makes this so hard for some people to grasp? |

Sad, but oh, so true. "I hate all (fill in the blank here)". "But you hang around with (insert foreign sounding name here). He is a (same as first fill in the blank)". "That's different. I know him." |
i enjoy this column when parts side is slow or i dont need anything. but the fact remains many people are predjudiced, and some have some very strange beliefs. it kinda helps me pass my day, laugh a hell of alot, and wish i was a writer for the "TWILIGHT ZONE" w/all the bizzare crap that comes up here! would love to be on south 4th ave in tucson right now eating mexican food..........where ? fill in the blank!

We Americans don't want that, nor should we tolerate that situation. A key element is to cease, immediately, printing a single government document, ballot, sign, or anything else in a language other than english. A second key element to maintaining America as a nation is to reduce immigration to a trickle compared to the current level. |

Fourth Avenue...
There are some great Mexican restaurants there. But try Karichimaka on Mission someday. A little further out, but good. And El Moilinitos as well on 22nd Street. Great Salsa. |

Play nice, fellas.........
P.S. The reality is that many people look at those who talk or look different as something not to be trusted. This is true whether they have paid their dues, become naturalized citizens or are illegal. Seems to be human nature, programmed into us to fear anything "different". |
money guy..............went to el molino last time we went down for PCA concours @ tucson country club w/patrick motorsports. g/friend and i put the feed on at molinos. used to go to U/A when i was younger. used to be place on s. 4th ave you could drive up get huge pitcher of beer and 5 tacos for 5 bucks, delivered to the window of your car! needless to say all my buddies were in the SAE frat and it was ANIMAL HOUSE! none stop 24/7. i was smart and didnt join...............but i sure did reap the benefits!
