63 in a 55

What can you read into that?

Cop pissed off that he couldn't get "the Porsche" for higher, so settled for what he could.

He'll go back to the barracks and brag to his buddies that he "nabbed a Por-sha" today.

Friggin' insurance company suckups.

Where were you at ??
I lived there in the 80's over off Northwest and Jupiter.... that was
a nice area then !
Northwest has always been bad, all those punk kids around
White Rock Lake !

I do not know if my speedo is that accurate in my P-car.

Yup, you were guilty of owning a Porsche.

30 minutes of traffic school that you'll take online in the comfort of your own home while sipping a glass of wine and clicking over to browse pelican here and there.

I spent 5 years restoring/modifying my 914. On the way TO the inspection station, I got stopped and ticketed for no inspection sticker.

I asked the cop "how am I supposed to get an inspection sticker if I can't drive the car to the inspection station?".

His answer... "You are not supposed to let it run out before you get it inspected."

My response.. "It was just recently registered after 5 years of restoration."

His reply.. "That doesn't matter."

The cop was just being a "male reproductive organ".

So I took it to court, with the inspection report in hand. the time stamp on the inspection report was 30 minutes after the ticket was written. The cop showed up, and the Judge (turns out he is a P-car owner also) threw out the ticket and lectured the cop on the term "reasonable explanation". Then he wanted to see pictures of my car..... :D

69 in a 4X4.
What can you read into that?

Ah hell, Mark...that's nuttin'. I sold my 1970 911T after getting an "energy conservation" ticket back when the 55 limit was in place. Sitting down? 57 in a 55...that was on interstate 5! I told the cop I was going to buy a gas hog 4X4 with dual tanks and drive 55 for him...at 8 MPG. What's really sad, I took time off work, went to trial. The judge backed up the cop, would not admit that a cops "calibrated" speedo could be 2 mph off.

Yeah, it was about the money. :( This was back in 1974, and it still makes me mad when I think about it.

V-1...the best damned self defense weapon since the single action colt revolver.

I have heard of strapping a 2x4 to your ass but a 4x4?? Pretty extreme..

Superman 06-13-2006 04:30 PM

Single action?! Whatsup with that? I don't mind cocking a babe once in a while, but I think a handgun should cock itself.

Think metaphor.

Got pulled in Wyoming doing 67 in a 65? I asked the pimply faced cop, all of maby 19, if he was really serious? I also told him he needed to grow up and worry about real crime. No ticket but he followed me fo about 45 minutes. Jerk off.
