Thats tragic.
Although I don´t understand how anyone could finish in that extremely physically demanding tour - without drugs. I would have fallen of my bike within an hour, stone dead.

That is dissappointing. So would that mean that Bobby Julich will be the domestique of team CSC now that Basso is out? It would be nice to see a CO native win.
I wanted to see Jan win it too. He finished just behind Lance too many times, and it would have been nice to see him win one more. Rich

Nearly all pro cyclists, including LA, dip into the medical bag-o-tricks. Call it vitamins if you want...The level of competition is very high and the stakes are large especially in Europe.
