What in the world are you doing in Mexicali? Passing through Phoenix on the way back to the Big D?

It isn't just in the big cities either. Same type of incident has happened several times here in Jefferson City, MO.

Kurt,
Hope you prosecuted them then tossed them in jail!? Noticed that the Bugeye sold. Did it make what you needed? Hope it goes to a good home! Joe A

Oh well, a bit short on time. Was going to offer to burn some steaks if you were driving through town!
Last time I looked, we are in America and why in the hell should the menu be bilingual? Sorry but I learned Spanish when living in Mexico, German when living in Germany and so on but guess I am not normal...

$500,00-$1M under-insured motorist coverage is maybe $50.
Even if you're a pedestrian and you're hit you'll be covered with NY policies. Long Island stats are that 10-20% of cars are not insured. The % varies throughout the Island.

It can work in your favor too. When I was 16 or 17, I broadsided a car as I was turning left. Totally my fault and I was drinking (yes I know I shouldn't have been drinking at that age). I looked at the guy and he looked at me and he took off. Pretty sure he was an illegal. My mom made go to the police station and file a report. The officer told me not to since I wasn't going to tell insurance. A couple hundred bucks to fix my car and all was well.

funny i had to learn german when i was in germany. i have to use spanish when in mexico, had to somewhat(not well) learn french or risk getting kicked out of establishment when in france.
as much as our "loudmouth" sheriff joe likes to toot his horn and sell pink underwear and have my old high school football team mate as his #2 under sheriff(despite his 300+# weight problem and 4 ex wifes and tax problems) sheriff joe is taking a hard line approach to this problem and starting to lock up "los illegals" on sight, let alone for breaking the law. people are getting real sick of this crap. now flip the coin, i get drunk, drive a car, have no insurance, ditch a cop or accident..................i will be locked up in florence prison so long my head would spin! these illegals will get max 364 days in tent city and then either released, or if ICE can manage the manpower, they MAY (if we are lucky) be deported! now try this same behavior in any other country and see what happens! |

I was coming to a stop for a red light (what a concept) on my GoldWing in Moorpark (spell that backwards for a description of the area) recently.
Still doing 20-ish or so, a recent-arrival felony farmworker came out from between two stopped cars in the adjacent stopped lane on a 10-speed. Typical Tijuana move. I center-punched him. The 900 pound GL and my 240 pounds stopped in about 6 inches. He and the bike were knocked 10 feet. Of course, I dismounted, walked up to where he was, and he got up, smiled, said 'Lo Siento', and ran away. His two buds also bolted on their bikes. The bike he was on took the brunt (he wasn't even limping) and the remains of the bike were moved to the shoulder. The surrounding motorists all said they saw it and would be a witness. My bike had some marks in the polish of the fairing (conforming to the jacket the guy was wearing), and no damage. This guy had to be hurting. The 10-speed was almost totalled. I did replace my front tire a week later. I stopped at the Sheriff's station, and they laughed at me. This situation WILL get out of hand soon.

the minute men have a great concept going! its bringing the problem to light big time! how would you like to be the rancher bordering on our southern border who catches some illegals wrecking his property, rancher roughs them up a little(nothing serious), and then holds them at gunpoint, then is arrested by police, then SUED BY THE ILLEGALS in federal court, and then looses his ranch to the illegals to pay for lawsuit! the freeking illegals now own his ranch!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE!

I've been hit in L.A. four times by uninsured motorists: two Anglo guys, one Hispanic guy and a Black woman. All legal. The Anglo guys couldn't/wouldn't pay. One fled the state. The Black woman and Hispanic guy paid in full in cash.
