That's too bad. I liked watching Gatti just take helacious (sp?) whoopings. Those Ward v. Gatti fights were incredible. I'm going to check the details now - was it that bad?

Not too far from now Gatti is going to be in some rough shape. I heard a little while ago that Ward is not doing too well from all of the abuse.
I just read the ESPN recap. Sounds like he was overpowered throughout the fight. I think it might be the end of the line for him. crazy.

Gatti was never much of a top tier fighter. Anytime he stepped up in the competition, he got worked baaaaad. He was toyed with by the Golden Boy and Mayweather.
I hope he retires befores he starts talking like some of the greatest. Taking that many shots to the head does irreparable damage. As an amateur boxer, I had a very bad headache after each and every fight. In most of those, I won by knockout. No matter how good you are though, you still take a lot of shots to the head in sparring and competition. David
