what is the used parts protocol - money 1st or part 1st?
 

For small items (under $200) is the protocol that the seller sends the item first or does the buyer send the money first?

good question. i send the part i have offered. i try and take pics. sometimes either too busy or too lazy but i always give decent explanation of part. i figure if someone screws me on here at least i can roast their balls for all the world to see verbally. other than that im just trying to help some fellow porsche owners out. i am sitting on a wad of un rusted cherry parts that when i get around to it i will sell. im not getting rich, not even coming close to recouping costs, and in general some people want you to pay them for the part, paint it or fix it, install it, and ship it all for free. but that aint the real world. as far as cost to quote i generally know porsche cost for oem part and what 20th street auto sells used part for. its your part and you can put any value on it you want. bottom line if i need something bad enough i will just about pay anything for it. all depends how bad the guy needs it! remember there is a thing called KARMA!
