Telemarketer and Spammers...
 

I have been forwarding all spam that comes to me to the FTC at spam@uce.gov.

Some time back, I signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry and I have been reporting all telemarketing calls to them.


Do any of you bother to take these measures?

Do they really accomplish anything?

Your FTC link may be a spam itself. I mean, the feds set up websites that accept advertising?????

It's legit.

I look foward to telemarketing calls. I have my Full Metal Jacket soundboard in my favorites and I am not afraid to use it. They usually hang up after about 3 or 4 clicks. Never to call again. I rarely get any calls anymore and I am not on a do not call list.

OK, so what is a FMJ soundboard, that sounds like something I would like to use. We are on a DNC list and it seems to work quite well, just wish I could put my mother-in-law on the list.:D

Wife inadvertently took away some of my fun when she put us on the Do Not Call list.

My favorite when getting a spam call at home is to tell the spammer that I am in the middle of something important and ask if he'd mind holding till I finished. They allways agree to hold and I drop a porno in the dvd and lay the phone in front of the speaker. I then just go back to whatever I was doing. Return later to hang phone back up.
