Allyou guys who live in Arizona better write your political reps about this, unless you are sure that you want to be able to count the number of places you can Auto cross in the state on one hand.

Um....if this passes (which I hope it doesn't) they can always hold A-X in Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Tempe, Peoria, Goodyear, Queen Creek, Glendale...

Looks like a statewide statute, not just Phoenix.

Hmmm....last time I read about it, it was at the Phoenix municipal level. Looks like I'll have to call my rep's office.

If I read it right, you'll still be able to auto-x wherever you want...you just can't run open exhaust. It lists a 90db cap for any "event" outside of a race track. Laguna has a 92db cap *on* the track (sound is measured out of turn 5 heading uphill where everyone is WOT).

Street cars will have no problem making 90db sound.

they are already doing the decibel check in carefree/cave creek. during bike week .....................LOUD PIPES =TICKETS! have 2 cop cars rigged with sound meter each end of town after 25mph turns to a mind boggling 35mph zone! they are nasty! my ATK 605(street legal-yuk yuk) with super trap, trips their triggers.

And yet every douche on a harley gets away with being stupid-loud.
