Hard to believe that people would intentionally make Israel look bad. That is why i dont watch the news or read any news papers.

I'd seen a couple of those before, but I have to say, that was a pretty good presentation.

There is no media bias, many here have told me so.

And here I thought it was the Bush admin that was engaging in a secret propaganda war, paying supposed independent journalists hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars under the table, giving WH press credentials to a male prostitute and constantly calling on him for softball questions, sending fake video news reports to affiliate stations without attribution, and meddling in the internal editorial affairs of PBS.
Now I know that it's a vast anti-Israel media conspiracy, at least today. You guys need to get your conspiracy theories straight. Is it the liberal Jewish-controlled media conspiracy, or the anti-Israeli media conspiracy? (or maybe no conspiracy at all?)

I have noticed that almost every picture from the destroyed regions, has a teddy bear. I did notice that the teddy bear is always very clean and has no dust on it. Good trick given the distruction depicted.

Second, what about the Bush administration's continual and secret manipulation of the media, per my post above ... you get all worked up by discreet reporters being dishonest in their jobs, but ignore a concerted, coordinated effort by our elected government to falsify news. Why?

Conflict sells the news and news papers.
Guess it needs some fluffing from time to time.

I am uninformed.
Thats why I do not geti nvolved in political debates. I do not read the news papers because they are full of lies. I do not watch TV news because they are biased from station to station. I know for a fact newspapers lie because I company I worked for was a victim of a Local news front page slander piece. The whole article was fiction. Unfortunatly the people that were calling our company and threatening to kill us didn't know it. That was the last time I ever read a newspaper.

The business of reporting news is flawed just like every other business on the face of the earth. Does that mean it's a vast conspiracy to push one agenda or another, stretching over multiple news outlets and hundreds of thousands, millions, of people? Of course not, it means that sometimes reporters do a good job, sometimes they do a bad job, just like you and me. And some of them lack integrity, just as a few in every profession lack integrity.
But when our government engages in the kind of blatant propaganda moves I described above, centered ultimately in Karl Rove's office, THAT is something to be concerned about. Unfortunately, the Bushies seem more concerned about teddy bears than the admin paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to a reporter to write fake stories.

It wasn't his "private life" daddy, it was his profession. Surely you know the difference.
It matters that he was not a reporter, he was a prostitute. But for some reason he was given press credentials. I would not expect an apologist like you to find anything wrong with the fact that a prostitute was given press credentials and repeatedly called on by the WH press secretary.

Seek and you shall find.
The Bush administration payment of columnists refers to the payment of public funds to right-wing media commentators by several U.S. executive departments under Cabinet officials to promote various policies of U.S. President George W. Bush's administration. Thousands of dollars were paid to at least three commentators to promote Bush administration policies. The payments were revealed on January 7, 2005, in an investigative report by Greg Toppo of USA Today. USA Today had obtained the information through documents provided by the U.S. Department of Education after the newspaper had made a Freedom of Information Act request. The documents showed that Armstrong Williams, a prominent syndicated columnist and pundit on CNN and CNBC, had received $241,000 of tax money through the Education Department's contract with Ketchum Communications, a public relations firm. In exchange for the money, Williams promoted the No Child Left Behind initiative and encouraged other journalists and commentators to provide favorable views of the law. Williams admitted that he had received the payments and wrote a column entitled "My Apology," admitting to the charges but writing that he "did not change [his] views just because my PR firm was receiving paid advertising promoting the No Child Left Behind Act." Williams' column was cancelled by the Tribune Company, which had previously syndicated his work. A second syndicated columnist, Maggie Gallagher, was revealed to have also accepted public funds from the Bush administration. An article by Howard Kurtz of The Washington Post first reported on January 26 that Gallagher had received $41,500 in two federal contracts from the Department of Health and Human Services for authoring brochures, a magazine article and a report and briefing government employees in support of Bush's marriage initiative, which redirected welfare funds to pay for premarital counseling and abstinence education. Michael McManus is the third person to be implicated, in an article by Tom Hamburger of The Los Angeles Times on January 28. It was revealed that McManus, who is a self-described marriage advocate and writes the "Ethics & Religion" column that appears in 50 regional newspapers, was paid through a subcontractor with a consulting firm that does work for the Department of Health and Human Services. The payments were said to be $4,000 plus travel expenses, with an additional $49,000 paid to his organization, Marriage Savers Inc..

daddy, you are an unmitigated Bush lackey.
That you would defend secret payments of taxpayer money to the media to secretly promote the admin agenda in the guise of news is shameful. Shameful.
