You think spelling Boxster is hard, try Donauoberdampfschiffsfahrtskapitaen, Cayenne, Touareg or Fahrvergnuegen.....all of 'em real Kraut words, and cRaZy!

So you are offended when aother orsche owner doesn't wave?
I don't see Hodna owners waving at every Honda they see... Whats the point? I enjoy waving at Porsches, but its not the end of the world if a Porsche doesn't wave back!

What is it with these Boxer owners? They really must be a high-fallutin' bunch. They simply never wave back to us Brief owners. While us Brief owners tend to stick together and support one another, those darn Boxer guys are definitely cut from a different cloth. While we try to respect and include them, they don't even know we exist.

That's not what I've heard...
![]() This thread just gets more and more rediculous. (..which is pretty challenging considering the first post!)

In brief, this guy got his pants in a bunch because boxers don`t wave at him. Got it.

I think I struck a nerve. I never said that the boxter is not a fine car., just that in my experience a lot of the folks who drive them it is their first porsche and there is little brand loyality, or appreciation for the mystique. I just like old tubs. ANd again just from my experience it is like, wow if I buy this car I will be cool. Maybe maybe not . I know a little of whense I speak having owned Porsches for 30 years---from speedsters to 914s. THere just is no allure to a boxter for me. and I guess I am ticked that the drivers look at me as if to feel sorry for me cause I can;t afford a newer vehicle. HA! That is especially true when I visit the silicon valley where the late model cars---993 and 996? are in abundance. Poor old guy. His ex must have taken him to the cleaners or he lost it all when the dot com bubble burst and has to drive a 32 yr old car. : - ) Jeeze lighten up.
