YIKES!!!

What was that??? OK, I'll show my age here and just how many miles I have done in 911s....

Deep Purple - LOUD and anything by them...

Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top for my 356 Cab - loud with the top down (long time ago but I still love ZZ...)

George Thorogood, Yes, John Mayall, a little band from downunder called JET...the Stones (from the 60s)...

Hard and heavy and lotsa blues....and loud!

But then what would I know...I'm female and probably old enough to be your mum! (Sheesh - that's a scary thought )

Cheers,
Lisa

Built my hot rod.

for that matter, anything by Oomph!, Rammstein or Eisbrecher. Good angry krautrock.

nope.....do like my 13 yr old and his friends did. The couldn't find anything they felt was worth listening to in the new music bin, so they raided the folks stash and started listening to Zep, AC/DC, Jimi, etc. Strange, i know, but i am not entirely displeased. I turned the boy onto the Allman Brothers last time he was here for a visit.

My 14yo is the same...raids our stuff, which Mike and I think is great as we don't have to listen to stuff we don't like at 130db out of his room!

Add AC/DC & Rose Tattoo to my list too. Oh...and Billy Thorpe! Preferably with the Sunbury Aztecs - loudest band of their time (and bloody good to boot).

I kinda' like Stroke-9's "Kick Some Ass". Fun tune. Even more fun if you've seen "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back".
