Very nice - take care of it and it'll last forever.

I like it, very nice. If you lose the plug, a pencil does the trick. I'm not sure on the regs in IL. but it's fun to fire off 5 quickly with out.:p

Now just go on and take off all that pretty wood, put it back in the box and get to moddin'!

The folding stock is, and this is my opinion only, a bad thing because it amplifies recoil, you have nothing to which you line up your cheek to, and the pistol grip makes your wrist, a weak part of your arm, absorb way too much recoil. Remember, no matter what you may hear, you must AIM a shotgun in actual use. In home use, you want a regular type buttstock with a sling swivel built into it, and a sling swivel that mounts to the forward magazine support. You install your Giles tactical sling on the swivels. |
Additionally, if you can't go in person, I strongly recommend the Tactical Shotgun training video from the Gunsite Academy.
Edit: Just remembered, the rifled barrel that came with your package will affect the pattern if used with other than slugs. When shot is used the pattern takes on a figure "8" shape. That might not be a problem when the shotgun is used defensively inside a house, but the only way to be sure is to pattern your shotgun at the range to see how the pattern looks at normal defensive ranges, 7-10 yards. |
