It was my sole purpose to get you a free day at the track, times are hard, and you deserve a break. The the entire thread was not a waste, Atleast one guy got some fast track time. And that is what it is all about.. Chris

Wow! What a read (and what a tool).
To "execmalibu" (and with all due respect to my homosexual friends on this board...whether out of the closet or not):

Let's not confuse someone's sexual orientation with lying - or to be as nice as possible - with having an unusual degree of credulity that happens to work in the sellers favor for some odd reason...
The simple fact is that the only way to get a stock 2.4 to 165 (T, E, OR S) is by dropping it from an airplane. Maybe his speedo was so far out of whack that it added about 20 mph to the top speed.... |

It came out that the "speed" was on a slight downhill, following another car and he wouldn't explore that again or put it on a dyno, or ......

Even dropped from a plane someone would have to calculate the terminal velocity. The point was the guy who posted it was FOS. Maybe in a vacum

Where did he go? poof! Did we ever hear from him again? Didn't Dave at TRE actually know him?
The funny part was his total lack of reality...he never once said, well, yea, that speedo ws probably broken. He was a slick/oily one!

One of the greatest threads of all time! I thoroughly enjoyed my participation in October - November 2006 in the days leading up to the "great race" at Willow....that never happened.....
