Lowes already has their X-mas trees up. I pisses me off the way they push the holidays and season on us. By the middle of July all the summer stuff is already gone., and they are setting up for the fall. WTF? there is still 2 months of summer left. i remember seeing Halloween displys at the end of August

Especially when one lives in the warmer climes. By August, it starts getting difficult to find even pool chemicals in the big boxes...already into Fall Specials while the outside temps are still in the 90s.
Yeah...Like I need a fur lined jacket.....

Local Ace has their trees displayed--last weekend you could buy ornaments and wrapping paper at Crate and Barrel.

I'm deliberately boycotting any store - ANY store - regardless of prices, deals, whatever - that has any holiday/Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving. I don't care who they are.
This holiday has become ba$tardized enough without these bottom-feeding, money-grubbing dip$hits pushing it back into October, if not September.
