Win or Lose!
Did the Democrats Win or did the Republicans lose the election?
|
My opinion: The vote was definitely anti-Bush, rather than pro-Democrats. The Democrat message did not include what they would do differently, just that they would do things differently.
Answer: Republicans lost the election. |
Yes

I concur. The Repubs have made themselves look so incompetent that PeeWee Herman looked electable.

all of the above not withstanding, America still lost as there will be no change, no recovery and all current crises will only deepen.

Was the winner of the 100 meter dash too fast or was the runner up too slow ?
A bit of both, I would say. |
Not just anti-Bush. Anti Abramoff/Delay/Ney corruption. Anti Foley child seduction. There were lots of Republicans to vote against besides Bush.

Interesting....very very interesting.

Depends who you ask I guess. . .

Clearly, this was mostly a "vote for change."
Although change to what, no one seems to know. Other than trying to raise the minimum wage, no one seems to know what the dems are even promising to do. Just that they are not republicans. They will have both houses of Congress, the entire legislative branch. What are the promising to do with their power? What is their agenda? What is their position on Iraq? Does anyone even know? There's been a lot of talk about how great it is, but I'd like to know, specifically, what to look forward to. |
IMO the Repubs clearly lost.
Had we had a viable choice of a third party, i suspect that virtually ALL the dems and repubs would be looking for work today. |
